The Aurelius is our second model. Compared to the Augustus model, the Aurelius has softer corners. A more rounded curve gives a softer but smart look, perfect for daily use.
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus // 121 A.D. - 180 A.D.
Aurelius was Roman emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher. He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors (a term coined some 13 centuries later by Niccolò Machiavelli), and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD. He served as Roman consul in 140, 145, and 161.
Marcus Aurelius ruled with wisdom, generosity and strength in an age of plague and vicious wars.
Stepping back from emotional and physical chaos to reach a state of calm, clear-headed thinking is the bedrock of Stoicism, a philosophy famously practiced by Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius
“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.
Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
This model is inspired by the philosophical approach of Aurelius
